Your Home For Ceramic Supplies and Tips! |
There are two types of ceramic products sold on this web site. The first is Bisque. Bisque can be fired in a kiln with glazes and underglazes and can be used for food and water if done that way. Or you can paint on bisque with acrylic paints and then spray or brush-on glaze them. Painting this way the bisque is ornamental only, not for food or water and not for placing outdoors. You cannot fire acrylic paints. Paint on bisque either way. The fired or non-fired methods. The second type is plastercraft. Plastercraft is a ceramic like product that is painted with acrylic paints and then spray or brush-on glazed. It can not be fired in a kiln. It cannot be used for food and water or placed outdoors. It is ornamental only. We carry a large selection of both types, acrylic paint and underglazes/glazes. As always if you have any questions simply email us info@ceramicartspace.com and well reply within 3 hours or less.
