The clear glazes in this category are for applying over underglazes. The IN1001 is a fully non toxic firable glaze. It fires at cone 06. It is dinnerware safe when fired at cone 06. This product, like all clear glazes requires 2-3 coats in its application. The GL612 is also a clear glaze for application over underglazes. However this glaze does contain certain ingredients that merit a caution label on this product. If handled according to the directions and fired at cone 06, it is a dinnerware safe glaze and is probably the best clear glaze on the market. Not for use in schools or institutions.
