FREE shipping offer is on orders $75.00 and over (excludes Alaska & Hawaii). Gallon containers, clay & tile cases are excluded from the free shipping offer due to their weight & size. However the ground/homme delivery shipping option amount shown on the checkout page on purchases of Gallon containers, clay & tile cases reflects a discount of 50% off reg. shipping cost for those excluded items. Only those items will be charged the discounted shipping charge. All other items in your order qualify for free shipping as long as the total order is $75 or over. Free shipping can be limited to one box of max. size 17" cube due to weight limit. Additional boxes may be charged a discounted shipping amount. We proudly feature the following carriers. Packages sent via economy service are fully traceable from pickup to delivery at www.fedex.com. We gladly ship to any APO/FPO/PO Boxes. However the free shipping offer does not apply.

Choose from the complete family of shipping service we provide from Fed Ex. Including all air services, ground and home delivery.You can also choose from United States Post Office Parcel Post, First class (under 1lb) and priority which offer lower shipping rates. We also accept orders and ship to Mexico, Canada, Europe, South America, Asia & worldwide! All funds are in US dollars.
Returns and Exchanges
These require a return authorization (calling us for authorization is required) and a copy of your Invoice. Replacement or exchanges will be treated as a seperate order (you will be charged for the merchandise and a credit will be issued upon receipt of the returned items). No returns exchanges or credit authorizations after 7 days of delivery of order. Returns must reach us no later than 14 days after our authorization for return is issued. There is a 20% re stocking charge for cancelling orders that have not been shipped yet, this is to cover credit card & administrative costs/fees/packaging costs. There is a 20% re-stocking fee on all returned orders (On exchages we may choose to waive it in lew of a small re shipping fee). Also returns for refund are subject to the 20% restocking fee as well as the cost of shipping we paid for if you received the free shipping offer.

If it is our error or a manufacturer defect:
Receive a full credit if received 1-5 days from date delivered. You may be asked to provide some documentation.
Customer Error/overordered quantities/not what customer wanted/dislikes product:
20% restocking charge & customer pays for return shipping to our location in Van Nuys, California. If we paid for the shipping as part of a free shipping offer, that amount too will be deducted before a refund is issued.
Refunds under $25 are issued a credit memo unless you request otherwise (Memos are valid for 180 days)
Shipping:
All orders are shipped F.O.B. Van Nuys, CA. There are no minimums for orders. If an order that is placed is smaller than $10, a small handling fee of $1.50 may be charged in addition to the purchase and shipping charges. Any customs fees due on International Shipping orders are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs fees may need to be paid to your Postal service/UPS or Fed Ex before delivery of your item, and are charged by your carrier not by www.ceramicartspace.com
UPS or Fed Ex will not ship to PO Boxes; please choose USPS if you have a PO Box without a street address. We do not guarantee any shipments to PO Boxes. We will not provide Shipping Refunds due to weather related delivery delays. Deliveries to remote areas inside the 48 contiguous states may increase delivery time. Our free shipping offer may use Economy service. Packages are shipped through a combination of FedEx and USPS. FedEx picks up your package and delivers it to a USPS facility for the final delivery by your postal carrier. Packages sent via economy service are fully traceable from pickup to delivery at www.fedex.com. This service is for domestic US Shipments Only. www.ceramicartspace.com will not be held responsible for packages left outside a resident's door if signature service is NOT requested or if the customer has a signature release on file with FedEx or USPS or if the customer requests to us that the package be left outside their door/residence or business. All packages shipped via United States Post Office are NOT fully traceable. Priority service packages are not tracked by USPS and therefore the customer assumes liability once the package leaves our facility.
Refused Packages/ Undeliverable Packages
Customers will be automatically charged a service fee for:
- Any refused package.
- Undeliverable packages due to incomplete address information, no signature on file, or no recipient at the shipping location provided.
- Re-shipment of packages returned to us.
Merchandise Damaged In Transit
If your merchandise arrives damaged, notify us before returning it. We must be notified within 5 business days of receiving the order to insure proper handling of your claim. Some shipping companies require that a representative come to your home to inspect damage. Remember to keep the original packaging. Do not discard the shipping box, after inspecting the damaged parcel, they may/will return it to us. This procedure needs to be followed in these rare occasions. We may require digital pictures to be emailed to verify the damaged goods.
Missing Items in Shipment
If you receive a package and there is a missing item, you must notify us within 48 hours to ensure proper handling of your claim. We are not responsible for missing items not reported to us after the 48 hour allotted time.
International Orders
We are aware that certain countries do charge taxes/tarrifs and or import fees on incoming products. For this we are not responsible. It is always best to check your import regulations to see what is required in inport taxes/fees before ordering. When shipping to Canada, the buyer is responsible for all government fees/taxes. We are not responsible for any taxes and import fees your country may be charging, nor is it up to us to publish such government fees. Some countries allow self customs clearance/declaration to have a reduced charge. Returning products to us because fees were not paid will incur a charge of 50% for re stocking/packaging fee in additon to all shipping costs incurred. Orders canceled while still in our control but placed longer than 24 hours before, are subject to a $10.00 charge. This fee is charged for time, packing materials used & for processing your refund. This fee is only to cover our expenses. We ship to over 80 countries and it would be imposible to maintain an up to date customes fee schedule for them. Customs regulations and fees change all the time. Please note: We are not responsible for lost/stolen orders in a foreign country. Please check with your local service. We are not responsible for damage or bottles that may leak due to misshandling/ or theft that occurs in international shipments and in foreign countries. Many times packages are misshandled and we are not liable for this.
Local will-call service available
Local will-call pickup is available at our Van Nuys, Ca. warehouse location . Just let us know by checking the will-call box in the shipping page and we will email you to let you know its ready and when to pick up. No shipping charges will added to your order for this service.
Free shipping offer does not apply to clients that are located in the San Fernando Valley. We will-call your order at our Van Nuys location by checking the will-call box in the shipping page of the checkout process.
We ship orders FedEx , USPS or common carrier. Insurance up to $100 value is included in shipping rates for FedEx. Additional insurance for orders can be added and purchased at customer expense.
If your item is returned to us by FedEx, US Postal Service (or other shipping service) due to an incorrect or insufficient address, lack of forwarding address or any other such reason, we will refund your purchase price less shipping and handling charges (including any return postage charged to us by FedEx or other carrier) and a restocking charge of up to 20%.
Cancellation of orders already packaged or in transit:
Orders cancelled while in waiting for shipment (packaged) or in transit will be charged a re stocking fee of 20% and treated as a return. Please note that it requires time and materials to put together. This is to cover credit card & administrative costs/fees/packaging costs.
Explanation of free shipping offers:
Free shipping in the 48 US states only with any $75 order. Excludes Alaska & Hawaii. As it states on our home page clay, liquid gallons or larger containers and tile cases are exempt due to the weight of these products. However we have set up discounted rates that will save you more than 50% off published shipping rates. When you get to the shipping page of the checkout (and you have any of the above items in your cart) you will see the available discounted shipping choices. Any other items in your order/cart will be shipped freight free provided the total order including tiles are over $75. Only the tile cases are weighed so you are not charged shipping on the other items if order total is over $75. If you have any questions, please email or call us. We determine the carrier and the service for the free shipping offer. However most of the time we use UPS or FED EX ground service. If you wish expedited shipping you may select one of the other choices and pay the cost. We gladly ship to any APO/FPO/PO Boxes. However the free shipping offer does not apply.
Free shipping offer does not apply to orders going within the San Fernando Valley. These locations are closer than 10 miles from us and within a short driving distance. We will ship these orders but not on the free shipping offer.
Freeze warning
**FREEZE WARNING: Many glazes will freeze. www.ceramicartspace.com nor the different shippers we use are responsible for damage done to glaze or any other products we ship due to extreme cold weather. We take every precaution to package our glazes and supplies well. Please take your local weather into consideration as you place your order. If glaze freezes, it may expand and damage the jar. Wax resist will turn bad if frozen.

Glaze will Freeze advisory: During the Winter months, we may hold packages a couple of days if you've ordered wet glaze or wax resist. If the package will be traveling through severe, prolonged cold weather, we will hold it until the weather eases. If glaze freezes, it can expand and burst the jar. If that hasn't happened, then the glaze will be fine with thawed and remixed. Wax resist is ruined and needs to be replaced.
